Belait and Temburong district police stations carried out community approach programmes and crime prevention patrols in efforts to foster closer ties with local communities, especially in rooting out criminal activities.
The Kuala Belait Police Station conducted a crime prevention patrol in the vicinity of Kampong Mumong, the Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) said.
Commanding Officer of Kuala Belait Police Station P/ASP Muhammad Ziyad bin Abdul Rahman and Acting Village Head of Kampong Mumong Haji Md Yusof bin Dulamin led the police personnel and neighbourhood watch members on the patrol.
Meanwhile in the Temburong District, Acting Commanding Officer of Temburong Police District Pengiran Anak Haji Azanuddin Aman Shah bin Pengiran Anak Ismail Al-Haj led Bangar Police Station personnel and met with Acting Village Head of Kampong Labu Estate Haji Sulaiman bin Haji Nassir and Village Head of Kampong Senukoh and Acting Penghulu of Mukim Labu Yusof bin Haji Maidin.
The meeting saw the sharing of crime statistics and strategies on crime patrol in the areas.
