Crime prevention activities discussed

The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) conducted several visits to villages and schools in the country to enhance cooperation and discuss crime prevention activities.

In Brunei-Muara District, Officer-in-charge of the Muara Police Station Assistant Superintendent of Police (ASP) Hajah Nur Azhani binti Haji Johaiani led personnel from the Muara Police Station on a courtesy visit to the residence of Acting Village Head of RPN Kampong Mentiri Area 2 Haji Abdul Mutalib bin Haji Momin and the residence of Acting Village Head of Kampong Kapok Pengiran Haji Ibrahim bin Pengiran Haji Timbang.

The villages’ welfare, plans for Neighbourhood Watch activities criminal incidence statistics reported within the villages were discussed.

In the Belait District, Officer-in-Charge of the Seria Police Station ASP Syed Afidzul Azeez bin Sheikh Haji Abu Bakar led personnel of Seria Police Station on a similar visit to Pengiran Setia Negara Lorong 3 Primary School, Seria, Chung Ching Secondary School and St Margaret’s School to discuss problems occurring at the schools, the school safety and strengthen ties between authorities and the teachers.

Officer-in-Charge of the Kuala Belait Police Station ASP Muhd Ziyad bin Abdul Rahman as well as Assistant Officer-in-Charge of Kuala Belait Police Station Probationary Inspector (P/Insp) Norfaiz bin Bakri led personnel from the Kuala Belait Police Station made two visits to the residences of Acting Village Head of Kampong Pandan C Haji Affendy bin Haji Awang Damit and Acting Village Head of Kampong Pekan Belait Haji Pungut bin Ali.
