A committee has been set up to address border crossing issues to help create a safe and guided policy.

“The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has set up its own online platform where the public can apply to enter or exit the country via one agency, the PMO,” said Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Minister of Finance and Economy II Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah during a press conference, yesterday. He then added that the Green Lane proposal is also being discussed under the committee.

“Neighbouring countries have proposed to conduct ‘Green Lane’ with Brunei and this is indeed a suggestion to be thoroughly considered,” he said.

He said certain conditions and rules set by the countries need to be followed.
