Brunei’s handling of COVID-19 outbreak lauded

Bangladesh High Commissioner to Brunei Darussalam Air Vice Marshal (Rtd) Mahmud Hussain praised Brunei Darussalam’s “exemplary efficiency” in handling the COVID-19 outbreak. He lauded the Brunei Government for extending support to stranded migrant workers who were unable to return home due to the pandemic.

He made these comments when the Bangladesh High Commission in Brunei Darussalam observed Migrants Day at its premises on Tuesday, with a seminar attended by expatriate Bangladeshi businessmen, doctors and teachers.

The seminar highlighted expatriates’ duties and responsibilities in tackling COVID-19 in support of the government.

Bangladeshi doctor, Dr Quamrul provided a detailed briefing on the dos and dont’s to remain safe from the virus.
