Brunei records no new COVID-19 case

Brunei Darussalam maintained its streak of no new COVID-19 case in the country yesterday for 66 days keeping the national tally at 141.

Information on the latest situation of COVID-19 in the country was shared by the Ministry of Health in a statement yesterday.

A total of 409 individuals who arrived in the country are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres, while 3,153 individuals have completed self-isolation at monitoring centres since March this year.

In the past 24 hours, 271 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus bringing the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 33,877.

In its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there were 110 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
