Brunei records no new COVID-19 case

Brunei Darussalam maintained its streak of no COVID-19 case yesterday keeping the national tally at 141.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) in a press statement said 491 individuals who just arrived in the country after travelling abroad are undergoing mandatory self-isolation at monitoring centres provided by the government.

Some 2,770 individuals completed their mandatory self-isolation at the monitoring centres.
As for COVID-19 testing, 354 samples were tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours bringing the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 20,195.

In its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there were 110 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
