Brunei records no new COVID-19 case

Brunei Darussalam continued its streak of no new COVID-19 case for 77 days yesterday. The national tally of confirmed COVID-19 cases remains at 141.

This was shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in a press statement statement.

Some 510 people, who just arrived in the country after travelling abroad, are currently undergoing their mandatory self-isolation at the monitoring centres provided by the government.

Meanwhile, 3,418 individuals completed self-isolation since March 2020.

The ministry revealed that 573 samples were tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours bringing the laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 37,631.

In its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, healthinfo.gov.bn revealed that there were 110 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in the Belait District and six in the Tutong District.
