BDRC president re-appointed to another term

Haji Mohd Suhaimi Ibrahim will continue to lead Brunei Darussalam Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) after he was re-appointed as president during the annual general meeting yesterday morning at the BDRCS headquarters in Bunut.

Meanwhile, Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yussoff bin Pengiran Haji Bahar has been named Deputy President of Policy and Finance, Pengiran Haji Haris bin Pengiran Haji Duraman as Deputy President on Special Projects, Amirulrizal Makmum as Treasurer, and Pengiran Norafni binti Pengiran Haji Hamdani as Assistant Treasurer.

Meanwhile, Sheikh Kadir Abdullah will continue his role as Secretary General, while Ahmad Akbal Adi Yusa bin HMY is the current Deputy Secretary General of Services and Academy, Isham bin Ismail as Deputy Secretary General of Community and Benefits, Rogayah binti Haji Mohiddin as Assistant Secretary General of Administration and Relations and Haji Hilhamd bin Haji Johari as Assistant Secretary General of Uniform Affairs and Discipline.

The position of National Director has gone to Mohd Mustaqim bin Haji Mustafa who will oversee Mohd Sunsai bin Haji Liadin as Brunei-Muara District Director, Mohd Hairol Isyrad bin Gundai as Tutong District Director, Zainuddin bin Haji Salleh as Temburong District Director and Zaini bin Haji Abang as Belait District Director.

Following the meeting, Haji Mohd Suhaimi said, “It’s an honour to be entrusted to lead the BDRCS through until 2022. In our preparation to host the upcoming ASEAN Red Crescent Youth Conference and the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Leaders Meeting, it’s of utmost importance that we remain united.”
