Aidiladha sacrificial ritual brings multiple rewards

Muslims are encouraged to perform the sacrificial ritual for Hari Raya Aidiladha to gain multiple rewards.

“Muslims who are financially capable are encouraged to perform this ritual, which is conducted after the Hari Raya Aidiladha prayers on the 10th of Zulhijjah and on the Tasyrik days of 11th to 13th Zulhijjah,” said Imams during the sermon.

“Through this ritual, we learn to do acts of piety; to eliminate greed and replace it with generosity; to be sincere in carrying out acts of piety; to be grateful for the blessings from Allah the Almighty; to generate the spirit of communal closeness, especially when the sacrificial meat is distributed among deserving recipients; and to show concern for the poor and the destitute.

“Those who can afford it should perform sacrificial ritual activities, and it is hoped that by doing so, our fortunes will increase and we will be spared from all afflictions.

“May our acts done in sincerity be accepted by Allah the Almighty,” Imams concluded.
