Brunei Darussalam continued its streak of no new COVID-19 cases for 80 straight days yesterday, keeping its national tally of confirmed cases at 141.
This was shared by the Ministry of Health (MoH) in a statement yesterday on the latest development of coronavirus in the country.
It also stated that 462 people who have just arrived in the country are currently undergoing mandatory self-isolation at government monitoring centres, while some 3,547 individuals have completed self-isolation since March.
The MoH also revealed that 400 samples have been taken and tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January to 38,642.
In its breakdown of COVID-19 cases in the country, the statement said there were 110 cases in the Brunei-Muara District, 25 in Belait District and six in Tutong District.
