Twenty-eight senior school boarding students from Jerudong International School (JIS) enjoyed two private fitness sessions at Fitness Zone recently.

The special programme abided by the Ministry of Health social distancing guidelines and included a fun Zumba class.

Fitness Zone founder, JIS Polio Points Ambassador and a JIS parent Wu Chun was present.
He said, “A number of these students are from China and have not yet been able to go home due to COVID-19 outbreak.

“Their parents are so grateful they are safe here in Brunei in the care of JIS.

“As a father myself, I know how much I value my children. I was so happy to welcome the students during this challenging time.”

Fitness Zone extended a generous offer to all JIS parents, staff and students aged 14 and above for the summer holidays to help them stay active, fit and healthy.

JIS Principal Nicholas Sheehan said, “It’s great to encourage the students to exercise and have fun at the same time.

“Wu Chun has been a valued part of the JIS community for years and we are very grateful to him and his team at Fitness Zone for all their support,” he added.
