Belait District Branch of the Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) organised a 14-day course for 18
female converts.

A closing ceremony was held at the hall of the Belait District Branch of the PDI on Tuesday.
Head of Dakwah Section in the Belait District Zikrinaidah binti Haji Mat Dikir was the guest of honour. She was welcomed by Assistant Head of the Dakwah Division Hajah Salimah binti Haji Hassan.

The course aimed at equipping the converts with knowledge on the Islamic faith including Tauhid, Fiqh Solat, Fiqh Haji, Fiqh Munakahat and Muqaddam.

Zikrinaidah congratulated the converts and said, “I hope everyone here will make full use of the knowledge you gained throughout the 14-day course.” She emphasised on the importance of expanding one’s knowledge and encouraged converts to continue seeking knowledge through workshops and courses.

Aliaa Nurazrina binti Abdullah Anding @ Rina anak Anding, a representative of the converts, expressed her gratitude on behalf of the other participants.

The ceremony continued with the presentation of the certificates by the guest of honour. Ustazah Zikrinaidah also presented prizes to the top three participants with the highest score in the assessment during the course.

Nur Hanisah binti Abdul Razzaq was in first place while Nur Sabrina binti Wafi’izzan and Iffat Aisyah Al-Fatin binti Abdullah Resni were tied for second place.
