Teng Yun Temple in Bandar Seri Begawan opened its doors for worshippers last Tuesday following the Ministry of Health (MoH) guidelines.
The Chinese temple is open from 9am to 11am daily. Children under 12 and individuals who are unwell are advised not to visit the temple. Worshippers must scan their BruHealth QR codes while temperature checks will also be carried out.
Individuals must practise physical distancing. Hand sanitisers will be available.
Only 30 individuals are allowed to the temple at a time.
Worshippers are advised to wear face masks when visiting the temple.
The MoH warned that failing to comply with these instructions is an offence under the Infectious Diseases Act (Chapter 204), punishable with a BND10,000 fine or imprisonment of up to six months, or both.
