The Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Kindergarten (TASKA YSHHB) resumed its schooling session welcoming some 181 Kindergarten 3 (KG3) pupils yesterday.
The pupils are divided into groups and the session is held from 7.45am to 11.30am.
The implementation of learning and teaching is according to modality outlined by the Ministry of Education (MoE) including face-to-face and online platform.
Several guidelines have been disseminated to parents and guardians as well as teachers and staff to enhance the safety at the school.
The guidelines include not sending the children to school if they have infectious symptoms, fever or other critical health conditions, supplying the children with wet tissues, hand sanitisers and packed food.
Parents were also urged to remind their children to practise social distancing, hygiene, cover when they sneeze or cough and wear face mask during school hours.
TASKA YSHHB hoped this can increase awareness on social safety among the pupils, teachers, parents and school.
The school also limits the movement of the students to their classrooms while daily assembly and study groups will not be held until further notice. TASKA YSHHB informed parents and guardians that the school implements the standard operating procedures to ensure safety of the students and the school.
