Tuition schools get ready for face-to-face learning

With schools re-opening in phases, tuition schools are now preparing to welcome students for face-to-face learning in a limited number.

Only those who will sit for public examination including Student Progress Examination (SPE), GCE ‘O’ Level and ‘A’ Level examinations are allowed to resume their lessons.

A registered tuition school in the country, Ria Sejati Tuition School shared on the preparation and arrangement for students to attend the face-to-face learning after over two-month closure.

Tuition schools must comply with the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Health (MoH) and Ministry of Education (MoE).

Mohd Sabih from Ria Sejati Tuition School said all visitors including students and staff must observe physical distancing and mandatory body temperature checks, whereas only a maximum of four students are allowed in one class.

“Hand sanitisers will also be provided for students and staff, and teachers must wear face mask throughout their teaching period,” he said. Khuazaif, one of the tuition tutor said all topics that have been taught via online will be reviewed in face-to-face teaching and learning for students who did not understand the topic.
