Think positively, urge Imams

Azlan Othman

In facing life full of obstacles and challenges, Muslims are encouraged to constantly have a good opinion, to think positive and never lose hope as obstacles are a test from Allah the Almighty.

Imams in the Friday sermon yesterday said Allah the Almighty will not test people beyond their capability as Allah knows what is best.

Although there is something that people dislike or hate, they should not be quick to think negatively of Allah the Almighty like sighing, whining or being angry. Imams added there is wisdom behind challenges.

Imams urged Ummah to show gratitude for the blessings that Allah bestowed upon them, avoid divisions that can harm the community and the country, cleanse and purify the heart from harbouring ill and bad intentions, share happiness whenever others succeed and strengthen friendship and kinship ties.

For the Ummah to achieve a harmonious and happy life, they should always have a good opinion of others so as to be united within the family, the religion, the community and
the country.
