The Department of Electrical Services (DES), under the Ministry of Energy, would like to respond to a concern highlighted by Dissatisfied Prepaid Customer’s ‘More CDMs needed’ published in the Opinion Page of the Borneo Bulletin on June 3.
Firstly, the DES would like to thank the writer for expressing his/her concern on this matter and extend our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused during the intermittent offline of the CDM at our headquarters.
The DES would also like to inform the public that there are currently four CDMs in the country: the DES headquarters at Old Airport Berakas; the DES office in Seria, Belait District; the DST in Tanjung Bunut; and the DST at Central Mall, Tutong District.
Alternatively, we encourage members of the public to purchase electricity credit via online transactions, such as mobile banking application (BIBD, Baiduri Bank or TAIB), Internet banking (BIBD and Baiduri Bank) or via PayExpress POS.
Another option is to purchase electricity credit via PowerKad, which is available at convenience stores, DST Easi Premium SMS, DSTIncomm uPos counters and DSTIncomm website.
The public can also obtain more information from our website at www.des.gov.bn or email us at [email protected]
