Six detained for theft at Anduki

Acting Commanding Officer of the Belait Police District Superintendent Handrie bin Haji Amin said six individuals were apprehended under the suspicion of being involved in a robbery at Anduki, Seria.

He shared this during a press conference at the Officer’s Mess at the Belait Police District Headquarters, Panaga Seria.

The theft case was filed by the Royal Brunei Police Forces (RBPF).

Superintendent Handrie said the incident occurred at an office and residential building in Anduki, Seria. It was recorded by the Seria Police Station on June 8 and an investigation led to the detainment of six male suspects aged 21 to 46 on June 10.

“The RBPF believes that these suspects may also be involved in a number of other theft incidents in the Belait District,” said Superintendent Handrie.

Several items, believed to have been stolen were recovered including air conditioning units, water dispenser, food and drinks.

The suspects are currently being detained for further investigation.
