Rise in registration for BruHealth app

The BruHealth app yesterday saw an increase in the number of registrations by local business establishments, premises and members of the public.

A total of 268,388 individuals have registered as users to the application.

In addition, 5,039 businesses and premises have also registered. Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar shared the latest figures at the daily press conference yesterday.

The breakdown of businesses and premises registered for the BruHealth app showed that 1,481 are restaurants, 611 schools, 486 retail shops, 378 offices, 327 government premises, 243 food stalls, 163 gyms, 202 barbers/salons, 51 car workshops, 49 shopping malls, 47 health centres and clinics, 34 recreational clubs, 26 places of interest, 22 supermarkets, 21 markets, 12 indoor playgrounds, 12 golf courses, 15 places of worship, seven cinemas, 11 hospitals, 156 take-outs, one petrol station and one ride sharing, one bus, and 682 others.

Public cooperation in the use of the BruHealth app and the scanning of the QR code at the entry and exit points at premises will ensure the safety of the merchants and customers. It also facilitates contact tracing should there be an outbreak of infections.
