Brunei Darussalam’s remaining COVID-19 patient has been cleared of the infection for over a month now, after three consecutive swabbing for the virus came back as negative.
Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar made this comment during a press conference at the Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday.
“The patient is still being treated at the Intensive Care Unit of the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong,” he said.
“We did three consecutive swabs before this, and all three were negative. We have cleared him of COVID-19.
“However, due to his health condition brought about by COVID-19, he is still being treated at the NIC.”
