With the country gradually implementing COVID-19 de-escalation measures, some parents are inquiring whether mosque activities such as Al-Quran and Muqaddam classes will be allowed to resume.
Haji Mohd Khairul Ariffin bin Haji Abd Karim asked, “Given our collaborative efforts in responsibly complying with the Ministry of Health (MoH) guidelines, would it be possible for children to attend classes while practising social distancing and preventive measures?”
One mother told the Bulletin, “My children often ask me about their Muqaddam classes now that mosques have re-opened for Friday prayers and the five daily prayers.
“Students returned to schools, while studying on a rotational class system. I wonder if such an approach could also be applied to Muqaddam classes.
“I do hope that our children will be able to continue their Al-Quran and Muqaddam studies in the near future.”
