A total of 368,599 people have registered as BruHealth users, less than a month after the smartphone app was released to facilitate COVID-19 contact tracing.
Meanwhile, 7,063 companies and premises have registered for the application.
The latest figures in the number of registered users were revealed by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar at the daily press conference yesterday.
The minister said, “A total of 2,033 business premises have also downloaded the PremiseScan application, which is intended for individuals who do not have access to mobile phone devices to enter these premises.”
Most non-personal registrations have come from restaurants at 1,584, followed by schools (661), retail shops (699), offices (777), government premises (494), food stalls (294), gyms (176), barbers/salons (371), take outs (259), hospitals (237), dart (100 ), car workshop (62), shopping malls (56), health centre and clinics (81), recreational club (49), places of interest (27), supermarkets (45), taxis (28), markets (27), bus (22), indoor playground (15), golf course (11), places of worship (16), cinemas (seven), nursery and daycare (six), petrol station s(three), as well as 956 others.
