MoH directive violation case adjourned

The Magistrate’s Court yesterday gave more time for parties to consider the case involving an allegation against a 46-year-old local man for failing to comply with a direction issued by the Ministry of Health (MoH) under the Infectious Diseases Act.

Magistrate Hajah Ervy Sufitriana binti Haji Abdul Rahman adjourned the case to June 26 for
further mention.

Jimy Aizal bin Haji Razali earlier pleaded not guilty to the charge against him of failing to report to the MoH as directed, after attending a religious congregation at Jamek Sri Petaling Mosque, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia between February 28 and March 3.

DPP Hajah Siti Mu’izzah binti Haji Sabli prosecuted the case.
