It is clear that the priority of reopening schools is for students sitting for public examinations. The examinations will be conducted based on the situation the country will be facing at that time, Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman said.

The minister said this in response to a question whether religious school education monthly assessment for pre-school to primary five students to be applied if the mid-year exams cannot be conducted due to the current situation.

“The announcement will be made by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) through the Department of Islamic Studies when the time comes,” said the minister.
