A ‘Customised Training Programme on Training of Trainers’ concluded with a closing ceremony at the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) Regional Centre for Vocational and Technical Education and Training (Voctech) yesterday.

The five-day training programme saw 14 participants from registered training organisations (RTOs) introduced to knowledge and skills to effectively deliver courses and make them competent trainers, according to a press release.

The final part of the training focussed on individual presentation, where participants were assessed and asked to produce and submit individual micro teaching/training sessions on selected topics of their specialisation taken from their training programmes, as well as a portfolio of evidence from outputs produced during the training.

Participants are also expected to conduct post-training at their organisation, and conduct an online video training to be submitted to National Open College Network (NOCN)-UK.

Centre Director of SEAMEO Voctech Regional Centre Dr Haji Mohd Zamri bin Haji Sabli congratulated the facilitators, team, and participants for completing the training programme.
