COVID-19 updates – No new cases for 49 consecutive days

 

 

The Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Mohammad Isham bin Hj Jaafar at the daily COVID-19 press briefing said that no new COVID-19 case in was recorded in Brunei today, maintaining the national tally at 141.

No active cases are being treated at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 417 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV2 virus, that brings the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 27,802 tests.

Currently, there are 453 individuals who are undergoing mandatory isolation at the monitoring centers provided by the government, who have just arrived in the country after traveling abroad. At present, a total of 2,588 individuals have completed their mandatory self-isolation at the monitoring centres.
In the past 24 hours, a total of 417 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV-2 virus that brings the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 27,802 tests.

The health minister also informed that a total of 400,270 individuals have registered to the BruHealth application. For companies and premises, a total of 10,638 have registered for the BruHealth application.
