COVID-19 updates: No new case today


The Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Mohammad Isham bin Hj Jaafar at the daily COVID-19 press briefing said that no new COVID-19 case in was recorded in Brunei today, maintaining the national tally at 141.

No active cases are being treated at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong.

At this time, all close contact of patients have completed the 14-day quarantine period in accordance to the Infectious Diseases Act (Chapter 204). A total of 2,823 individuals have completed their quarantine.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 217 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV2 virus, that brings the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 26,468 tests.

The health minister also informed that a total of 395,164 individuals have registered as users to BruHealth application. In addition, a total of 10,123 businesses and premises have registered for the application.
