COVID-19 updates: No active case in Brunei


The Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Hj Mohammad Isham bin Hj Jaafar at the daily COVID-19 press briefing said that no new COVID-19 case in was recorded in Brunei today, maintaining the national tally at 141.

No active cases are being treated at the National Isolation Centre (NIC) in Tutong.

At this time, 18 individuals are currently undergoing quarantine in accordance to the Infectious Diseases Act (Chapter 204) and a total of 2,805 individuals have completed their quarantine and are in good condition.

In the past 24 hours, a total of 277 samples have been tested for the SARS-CoV2 virus, that brings the total number of laboratory tests conducted since January 2020 to 25,600 tests.

The health minister also informed that a total of 386,936 individuals have registered as users to BruHealth application. In addition, a total of 9,371 businesses and premises have registered for the application.
