Sixty-one pints of blood were collected at a blood donation drive held by Art of Living (AoL) Brunei in conjunction with World Blood Donor Day at the Ibnu Sina Room at the Panaga Health Centre yesterday.
The blood donation drive, held in collaboration with Panaga Club and Panaga Health Centre, attracted over 100 participants.
The drive was supported by the Blood Donation Centre from the Department of Laboratory Services, Ministry of Health (MoH). In line with the MoH guidelines, donors were assigned time slots to ensure social distancing, received protective masks, had their body temperatures checked and BruHealth QR Codes scanned.
Ravindra V Gadamsetti of AoL Brunei said donors comprised 15 different nationalities.
He added that AoL Brunei plans to host similar activities to provide aid and promote healthy living among the public.
