Temburong donations bring smiles to 202 orphans

Deputy Permanent Secretary (Youth and Sports) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports (MCYS) Colonel (Rtd) Pengiran Haji Maiddin bin Pengiran Haji Said and Assistant Temburong District Officer Pengiran Muhammad Ameer Mubaarak bin Pengiran Haji Hashim handed over donations to 202 orphans in the Temburong District. Noryani binti Haji Abdul Rani, a coordinator for the Community Development Department (JAPEM) at the MCYS, said the orphans in the district received donations at the National Service Programme (PKBN) building in Batu Apoi, in a drive-thru format in observation of the social distancing measure amid the COVID-19 epidemic.

The campaign will end today.

For parents and guardians unable to collect the donations can do so by visiting JAPEM branches on May 6-8 between 8am and noon.
