School receives donations to curb COVID-19 spread

Chung Hwa School, Kiudang received a number of donations from several companies and individuals to help curb the spread of COVID-19 in the country.

Sallima Recycling Works handed over 900 face masks, two bottles of five-litre sanitisers and five sanitiser bottles to the school, while Iburia Sdn Bhd donated five boxes of hand gloves.

The school also received three infrared thermometers from Risons General Suppliers and one infrared thermometer from Steven Tiang.

Meanwhile, 2,000 face masks, 36 bottles of antibacterial gel, three sets of LED TV 32″ and three standing fans were also donated to the school by BR Trading Company Sdn Bhd.

Chairman of the school Sii Tai Chuong, Vice Chairman I Sam Ying Kok, Principal Loo Shee Yun and member of Board of Directors George Wong received the donations.

Member of the school Board of Governors and teachers were present.

In another ceremony, representative of Taipei Economic and Cultural Office Andrew HC Lee presented a set of automatic hand sanitiser dispenser and five litres of hand sanitiser gel to Principal Loo Shee Yun.

Chung Hwa School, Kiudang and its Board of Directors expressed their appreciation to the donors for their generosity and kind concern for the well-being of students, teachers and staff members.
