Petrol station employees honoured for dousing car fire

The Fire and Rescue Department’s (FRD) Operation ‘F’ Branch recently handed over community service certificates to two employees of the Mar’azmala Petrol Station in Jerudong, Mohammad Izzul Waie bin Abdul Hassan and Abdul Hafiz bin Ramli, who put out a vehicle fire which occurred on April 21.

The certificate was presented by Officer-in-Charge of the Operation ‘F’ Branch Acting Senior Superintendent Haji Nordin bin Haji Buntan.

Deputy Officer-in-Charge of Operation ‘F’ Branch Assistant Superintendent Suhaimi bin Haji Muhammad, Station Commander of the Jerudong Fire Station Assistant Superintendent Haji Hassan bin Haji Jamudin, Head of the Operation ‘F’ Public Relations Division Station Officer Aliman bin Haji Salleh, Mohd Syahiran bin Haji Yahya and Supervisor of the Mar’azmala Petrol Station Haji Mohd Hisamuddin bin Haji Zakaria were also present.

The FRD also offers courses for Fire Marshals, Fire Safety Briefing and Lifesaver 995. For emergencies, the public can contact 995.
