Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar said that there are no plans yet for the re-opening of day-care centres, despite the loosening of some public health restrictions during the first phase of the de-escalation plan in Brunei Darussalam.
The minister was responding to a question raised during the press conference at the Ministry of Health (MoH) yesterday, regarding the temporary closure of day-care centres.
On whether the same family member could be repeatedly listed in the BruHealth app on several phones, he answered that it is permissible, since the event code is exclusive only to the individual who registered for the app.
Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham also encouraged the public to scan the QR code on entering and exiting restaurants, as well as other premises which include government buildings.
“This is the new norm, and hopefully if anything happens, it will allow the Ministry of Health to easily carry out contact tracing,” he said.
