The Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) conducted a roadblock operation on April 30 at the Tanah Jambu Connecting Road.

The roadblock that began at 10pm and involved 19 police personnel from Berakas Police Station was led by officer-in-charge of Berakas Police Station P/ASP Muhammad Alif bin Haji Musa.

During the operation, police personnel carried out ‘Stop & Search’ and ‘Stop & Talk’ approach to deliver information and advice to the public to stay home, not to have any mass gathering and practise social distancing during the current COVID-19 situation in the country. It was also to further build trust between the public and police

The roadblock didn’t record any offences under Road Traffic Act.

The RBPF will continue to organise roadblock operations to make sure that law violators are caught.
