I would like to applaud the government, especially the Ministry of Health (MoH), for the efforts in halting the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
This is especially true for the BruHealth app. It makes contact tracing easier, which in turn, makes us safer. But I wish more people understand that.
For example, I was at a restaurant recently. After scanning the QR code to enter, it said the eatery was at full capacity; it wasn’t. It turned out that a lot of people forgot to scan upon leaving the premises.
Such carelessness completely negates the effectiveness of BruHealth. It provides the authorities with inaccurate information on the users’ whereabout. Should there be a need for contact tracing, it would only lead the investigation astray.
As the authorities have said multiple times in the daily press conference, we all need to play our part in preventing a second wave of infection.
It’s time to be more diligent!
