Minister warns against violating regulations

Employees at barber shops, salons and massage spas have been instructed to maintain personal hygiene and cleanliness in addition to using face masks, aprons and gloves. They are also required to disinfect seats and beds after use, while customers should be seated at least one metre apart. Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar yesterday warned that failing to comply with these regulations may result in fines under the Infectious Diseases Act (Chapter 204).
