Malaysian PM placed under 14-day self-quarantine

THE STAR – Malaysian Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has been placed under a 14-day self-quarantine after an officer present during a post-Cabinet meeting on Wednesday tested positive for COVID-19.  Muhyiddin, who went for a COVID-19 screening earlier yesterday morning, tested negative. “Nevertheless, according to the supervision and observation order for Covid-19 Section 15(1) Act 342, the Prime Minister has to be in self-quarantine at home for 14 days beginning Friday evening.” More details in Weekend’s Borneo Bulletin
