Indonesia reports 347 new COVID-19 cases, total number exceeding 10,000

 

JAKARTA (XINHUA) – The Indonesian government yesterday announced 347 new confirmed cases of the COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections in the archipelagic country to 10,118. At a press conference, the government’s spokesperson for the COVID-19-related matters Achmad Yurianto said that there were also eight new deaths, taking the total number of fatalities to 792, the highest in Southeast Asia.
