The Friday prayer feature in the BruHealth app has been activated to make way for the public who wish to attend the mosque on May 29.

The new feature was launched yesterday at noon. The ID display can be found on the app’s main page and at the website healthinfo.gov.bn.

Personnel from the Royal Brunei Armed Forces (RBAF) and Royal Brunei Police Force (RBPF) will be stationed at mosques to guide congregants with the QR code to complement the new feature.

Individuals who fail to book a slot at the mosque due to health issues are advised to skip the Friday prayers to reduce congestion at the entrance.

Muslim foreign workers are urged to encourage countrymen to download the BruHealth app for daily activities and Friday prayers.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) called for exercising precautionary measures by adhering to the rules and regulations for mosque visits as the country continues to implement measures against the spread of the COVID-19 outbreak.
