Minister of Transport and Infocommunication Dato Seri Setia Awang Abdul Mutalib bin Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Setia Dato Paduka Haji Mohammad Yusof yesterday announced that driving school across the nation will reopen tomorrow.

The minister made the statement at the daily press conference held at the Ministry of Health (MoH). The minister shared that new applications for all driving licence classes and road test code will also resume on the same date.

The minister reminded that all driving schools in the country must comply with the outlined regulations including limiting the number of students to only 30 per cent of the normal classroom capacity, and advising trainers and students who show symptoms of flu and high-risk conditions not to attend classes.

All driving schools must conduct temperature checks before commencing their class, follow physical and social distancing guidelines and advise wearing face masks.
