Donations pour in for mosques

Galleria YMRM and YMRM Enterprise handed over a contribution of 50 thermometer guns to the Mosque Affairs Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA), in supporting the fight against COVID-19 outbreak in Brunei Darussalam.

YMRM Managing Director Hitesh Ramesh Bhawnani presented the donation to Acting Director of Mosque Affairs Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri at the Mosque Affairs Department on Thursday.

Mosques, suraus and prayer halls will re-open for the Friday prayers on May 29. Before entering the mosque, congregants must conduct a daily self-assessment and use the BruHealth app.

Safety measures including hand-sanitising, temperature checks and social distancing.

Meanwhile, the Yuza family contributed 30 bottles of Clorox, 100 bottle of hand wash and 80 hand sanitisers. Kensington bn contributed 40 bottles of hand sanitisers.
