The Ministry of Health (MoH) continued to receive contributions from donors as part of their corporate social responsibility (CSR) in assisting the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, especially the MoH, in preventing the spread of COVID-19 in the country.
The handing over of the contribution comprised a cheque, hand sanitisers, face masks and face shields at the Al-‘Afiah Hall at the MoH building yesterday.
The event saw 100 bottles of hand sanitiser and 6,000 pieces of face masks contributed by Nanyang Decho Fishery Sdn Bhd which was represented by its Director Jiang Haiwei.
This was followed by a cheque for BND5,000 by Brunei Insurance and Takaful Association (BITA) represented by Acting Chairman of BITA Klaus Tomalla. It continued with a contribution of face shields from Essof Enterprise (SONAX), NBT (B) Sdn Bhd, Ezy Printing Services and Trading Co Sdn Bhd, NCS Brunei, Jackhan Sdn Bhd, Tele Directories (B) Sdn Bhd, Current Voltage Engineering Company, Jeff-Lancer and D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd, represented by Chia Choo Kiong from D’Sunlit Sdn Bhd.
There was also a contribution of 5,000 pieces of face masks from Techline Solutions Sdn Bhd represented by its Managing Director Yun Fei Lee, Human Resources Manager Jenny Pang and Operations Manager Haji Abdul Rahman bin Amit; another 3,000 pieces of face masks and 1,000 bottles of hand sanitiser from PS Supply Sdn Bhd, and 80 boxes of face masks contributed by Teo and Sons Workshop handed over by its General Manager Teo Thian Siong.
The contributions were received by Senior Special Duties Officer of the Department of Healthcare Technology Rudy bin Haji Harun on behalf of the MoH.
