Contributions flow to combat COVID-19

Donations continued to pour in from the private sector and non-governmental organisations (NGOs) last Saturday to help the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam, especially the Ministry of Health (MoH) in combatting the spread of COVID-19 in Brunei Darussalam.

The donations were received by Acting Chief Executive Officer Special Grade at the MoH Haji Abdul Khalid As’ari binHaji Azahari.

The Christian community in Brunei Darussalam handed over a donation of BND53,510 presented by Vicar of St Andrew’s Church Reverend Johnny Chin Ten Yen, and representative of Christian Community Group, Reverend Render bin Luwis, and church representatives Senior Pastor of GBBM Lau Hee Khiong.

Interhouse Company donated BND10,000 presented by its Managing Director Vincent Goh and General Manager Steven Goh.

Thompson Furniture Square Sdn Bhd donated BND8,000 presented by its Managing Director Joyce TS Chai.

Breastfeeding mother-to-mother support group Hawa presented BND823 handed over by its Chairwoman Dr Masmunira binti Haji Ramli.

BruWell Valve & Fitting Sdn Bhd contributed 100 boxes of face masks presented by its Director Haji Hamdan bin Haji Hassan.
