Contributions flow for COVID-19 fight

More supply of medical scrubs for the use of COVID-19 frontliners came in as contributions from two local businesses Sparks Co Sdn Bhd and Aewon Garment and Embroidery Sdn Bhd to the Ministry of Health (MoH) at a ceremony at the MoH.

Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar received the donations on behalf of the ministry.

Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Khairul Khalil bin Pengiran Syed Haji Jaafari represented Sparks Co while Aewon Garment and Embroidery was represented by its Managing Director Lau Chai Seng.

At a separate donation presentation ceremony, another group of contributors handed over donations including cash to the COVID-19 fund.

Chief Executive Officer (Level 1) Haji Abdul Khalid As’ari bin Haji Azahari, in his capacity as Acting Chief Executive Officer (Special Grade), received the contributions on behalf of the ministry.

ABOVE & BELOW: Haji Abdul Khalid As’ari receives donations from PTD Technology Sdn Bhd, Authority for Info-Communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam and Blue Castle

Cash donations were presented by Riza Printing with BND8,372.00 by its Manager Kamal Flynn and Christian Fellowship Centre in Brunei (CFCB) with BND6,000 presented by Hoh Thian Chai as a representative of the donors.

PTD Technology Sdn Bhd contributed 70 boxes of mineral water and biscuits handed over by its Director Md Haziq bin Rasiman, Deputy Managing Director Chong Yew Lam and HSEQ Manager Haji Kamsani Nckman.

Authority for Info-communications Technology Industry of Brunei Darussalam (AITI) contributed soft drinks, snacks, tissue and handwash handed over by its Assitant Chief Executive Hajah Hasnah binti Haji Azri.

Blue Castle Enterprise handed over 40 bottles of hand sanitiser presented by its Managing Director Noor Azimah binti Haji Daud.
