Some 249,869 users and 4,355 companies and businesses have registered for the BruHealth app as of yesterday afternoon.
This was revealed by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar at the daily press conference yesterday.
The breakdown of the registration is as follows: 1,402 restaurants, 519 schools, 403 retails shops, 299 offices, 259 government premises, 153 gyms, 130 salons or barbers, 112 takeaways, 47 car workshops, 43 shopping malls, 41 clinics and health centres, 30 recreational clubs, 26 places of interest, 20 supermarkets, 19 markets, 12 indoor playgrounds, 12 golf courses, 11 places of worship, seven cinemas, seven hospitals, one patrol station, one ride sharing and 584 others.
The minister requested the public to download and register with the BruHealth application if they have still not done it.
Public cooperation in using the BruHealth application and scanning the QR code while entering and exiting premises will ensure public safety while helping the Ministry of Health to carry out contact tracing if there is a spread of infection.
