ABRSM results are music to JIS’ ears

Twenty-one Jerudong International School (JIS) senior music students achieved excellence in the ABRSM (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music) music performance examinations. JIS recorded a total of eight distinctions, 11 merits and two passes in the ABRSM music examinations in March.

The eight top students who achieved distinctions are Cecile Liu in Grade 8 Flute, Tiffany Rebelo and Khushi Punjabi in Grade 4 Piano, Hatidza Mrahorovic in Grade 3 Cello, Lucas Lim and Lucy Lim in Grade 2 Piano, Felix Fang in Grade 2 Cello and Iggy Malik in Grade 1 Trumpet.

ABRSM is an official exam board of the Royal Schools of Music, delivering over 650,000 music exams and assessments every year in 93 countries. A registered charity, the board makes generous donations towards music education initiatives around the world.
