Zikir books distributed at petrol stations

In efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19, various measures have been undertaken by several agencies. In line with this, the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) through the Department of Mosque Affairs in collaboration with a number of fuel stations distributed Zikir-Zikir dan Doa-Doa Memohon Kepada Allah Supaya Terselamat Daripada Bala dan Segala Jenis  Penyakit yesterday.

Acting Permanent Secretary at the MoRA Haji Mohd Serudin bin Haji Timbang distributed the books at TAIB Petrol Station. Acting Director of Mosque Affairs Haji Amir Hisham bin Haji Masri distributed the books at Ikatan Teluk Mewah Petrol Station.

The Acting Director of Mosque Affairs explained that the Zikir book is part of the efforts to seek guidance from Allah the Almighty. “The zikir book contains wirid, zikir and doa that have been compiled for the public’s ease,” he said. “Alhamdulillah, the ministry through the department collaborated with the Government Printing Department to print about 1,000 books which will be distributed to the public.

“As mosques, suraus and religious halls are closed, the department took the initiative by distributing the books at fuel stations. The books will be distributed to government officers through ministries as well as banks and higher education institutions,” he added. “Today the books will be distributed to the public in the Brunei-Muara District via fuel stations and will be carried out the next day for other districts.”
