ExCo Community Service and Project of ExCo Health, Safety, Security and Environment of UTB Student Representative Council (MPP UTB) of the 2020/2021 Session of Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB) yesterday held a donation drive, ‘UTB Care’, to support the frontliners in their fight against COVID-19 in the country. Among the items collected included 100 bottles of shampoo and shower gels, 100 medical scrubs, 100 boxes of bottled water, 100 food packs, 10 cases of Vitamin Water, and 12 boxes of instant noodles.

Nur Syifaa Adawiyah binti Ismail, Head of Exco Community Service and Project, in an interview with the Bulletin, said there was a fund collection campaign from March 23-31 with the objective of raising BND1,000.

“To our surprise,” she said, “the fund surpassed our target. We collected BND2,885 from UTB staff and students as well as our family members.”
