Students who completed their 14-day isolation left messages and thank you notes in the hotels where they were kept in isolation.

The messages were left on the side tables, work desks and others thanking hotel staff, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Education and frontliners for their hard work during the coronavirus pandemic.

Among the messages include “I don’t have the words to describe how thankful I am for all your services, patience and all the contributions you made in ensuring our safety, comfort and good health”, and “May you also be safe and well”.

Muhd Syarif Mirza bin Haji Abu Bakar, a final year student at Sunderland University, United Kingdom, who completed his isolation at Parkview Hotel expressed his gratitude to those involved in ensuring the students’ well-being and safety throughout the isolation period.

“Despite the issues we faced during this difficult time, we owe a large thank you to those people working hard and had sleepless nights in keeping and protecting everyone,” he said.
