This year, 25 orphans, senior citizens, special needs individuals, new Muslim converts and other underprivileged individuals have received cash donations and other daily necessities, with 11 from the Brunei-Muara District, five from Tutong, five from Belait and four from Temburong.

Eighteen local companies contributed to the project: BMC Food Industries, TGT Sdn Bhd, Hamitan Group, Lotus Light Charity Society, Bahagia Distributors Sdn Bhd, Orbit Supermarket, Brusin Trading Co Sdn Bhd, Copynice Marketing Services Sdn Bhd, Sim Kim Huat, Khan’s Carpet, Progresif Cellular Sdn Bhd, Syarikat Ampuan Haji Salleh bin Ampuan Haji Judah, Ton Soon Heng, Chieng Chiew Ann, Tanda Kasih Restaurant, Nurshahnizam Restaurant, Joffren Omar Company Sdn Bhd and Pusat Akademi Sukan Memanah Ar-Rafi Archery Brunei.

In view of the COVID-19 outbreak, members of the Jalinan Kasih project took precautionary measures such as social distancing, limiting the number of the working committee and shortening the time of the handover of donations to recipients.
